On 1 April 2026, our physiotherapists and occupational therapists lead April Falls Day at Alwyn Rehabilitation Hospital, focusing on education and practical strategies to help prevent falls.

Falls can happen to anyone, but many can be prevented through simple steps such as improving balance and strength, using mobility aids correctly, keeping pathways clear, and making home environments safer.

Our physios and OTs share valuable information, answer questions, and provide practical advice to support patients, families, and staff in staying safe and confident.

Together, we can reduce the risk of falls and promote safer, healthier independence for everyone. ?
